Here are some ideas to build an amazing bird house and bird feeder that are easy, fast, and cheap:
Milk Jug Bird Feeder: Cut a large hole on one side of an empty milk jug and fill it with bird seed. Attach a string to the handle of the jug and hang it outside for the birds to enjoy.
Log Bird House: Cut a section of a log and hollow it out to create a cozy nesting spot for birds. Make a small entrance hole and attach a hook to the top of the log to hang it from a tree branch.
PVC Pipe Bird Feeder: Cut a section of PVC pipe and cap one end. Drill small holes around the sides of the pipe and fill it with bird seed. Cap the other end and attach a string to hang it outside.
Terra Cotta Pot Bird House: Stack two or three terra cotta pots on top of each other and glue them together. Cut a small entrance hole in the side of the top pot and add a small perch. Paint the pots and hang it outside.
Pine Cone Bird Feeder: Tie a string around a pine cone and coat it with peanut butter. Roll it in bird seed and hang it outside for the birds to enjoy.
Mason Jar Bird Feeder: Screw a mason jar lid onto a piece of wood and attach a wooden dowel for the birds to perch on. Fill the jar with bird seed and screw it onto the lid. Hang it outside.
Shoe Box Bird House: Cut a small entrance hole in the side of a shoe box and add a small perch. Paint the box and attach a string to hang it from a tree branch.
Egg Carton Bird Feeder: Cut the lid off an egg carton and fill each section with bird seed. Attach a string to the top of the carton and hang it outside.
Tea Cup Bird Feeder: Glue a tea cup and saucer together and attach a small wooden dowel for the birds to perch on. Fill the cup with bird seed and hang it outside.
Wood Pallet Bird House: Disassemble a wooden pallet and use the boards to build a bird house. Add a small entrance hole and paint it to match your outdoor decor. Hang it from a tree branch.
