Test your full range speakers (no subwoofer) with this tone

Test your full range speakers (no subwoofer) with this tone (20-20KHz audio frequency audio, for 3 minutes, in real 4K resolution and sound definition).
Playing an audio test file within the typical human hearing range (20Hz to 20kHz) should not damage speakers under normal circumstances. Speakers are designed to handle a range of frequencies within this range, and audio test files within these limits are generally safe.
However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind:
Volume levels: Excessive volume levels, especially at low frequencies, can potentially damage speakers. If you play the audio file at extremely high volumes, it may cause the speaker components to overheat or exceed their designed limits.
Low-frequency content: Very low-frequency sounds, especially below the lower limit of human hearing (infrasound), can sometimes put a strain on speakers. While standard audio test files typically don’t go below 20Hz, be cautious when dealing with specialized low-frequency content.
Distorted or clipped signals: If the audio file is distorted or clipped, it can introduce higher frequencies that may not be present in the original signal. Clipping can cause the speaker to reproduce harsh and potentially damaging signals.
Speaker quality: The quality of the speakers matters. High-quality speakers are designed to handle a wide range of frequencies and volumes without distortion or damage. Lower-quality speakers may be more susceptible to damage.
In general, using reasonable volume levels and ensuring that the audio file is of good quality should not pose a risk to your speakers. If you notice any distortion or unusual sounds while playing the test file, it’s advisable to reduce the volume or stop playback to prevent potential damage.
